MOULD Filling validation
Additional modelling functions and new field variables, including their quality, and diagram visualization.

FLOW Export to Marc
Export calculated values for temperatures and pressures to Marc advanced non-linear solver for structural analysis applications.

A new morphing faces option can be used in combination with all binder methods and mesh types.

CAM 3 Axis
Slope angle colour management added to display the graphical preview of angular ranges before the toolpath calculation.

CAM Send to CAM
Evolution of the Run Machining Strategist option making it possible to send geometry to WORKNC and ESPRIT as well.

STANDARD ELEMENTS Catalogues updating
Catalogues have been updated according to market demands by adding new items.

CAD - Drafting - Blend with curve
The new Trim option for Blend with curve allows to refine the reference elements on which it will be created. Sliders are available to manage the tangency scales and the position of the start and end of the blend.

CAD - General - Extended user mode
Two modes are now available for filtering menus and toolbars. In Standard mode (default), the most common commands and icons are also displayed in the menus and toolbars.

CAD - General - Unpinned mode for docked dialogue
The new unpinned mode of the docked dialogue is retained for subsequent sessions. The dialogue is hidden when the focus is on the graphics area. The unpinned mode is also retained when only the docked dialogue of the current command is present (without any docked system windows). A new icon in the dialogue's title bar allows the dialogue to be 'detached and tiled' from the docked position.

CAD - Modelling - Autoconstrained surface
Option to create a patch on untrimmed curves and edges. New "Trim elements at intersections" option to temporarily trim selected elements at the intersection (or nearest point) to create the surface.

CAD - Modelling - Chamfer limits
Chamfer limits can now be defined on selected edges as already available for Blends.

CAD - Analysis - Curvature
New Curvature analysis command based on standard UI and graphics functions.

CAD - Modelling - Edit constant radius blend
Three different Parasolid functions have been exposed for the Edit constant radius blend command when the Cup option is active. These options are particularly useful when it is necessary to remove a complex chain of edges intersecting other chains.

CAD - Modelling - Offset solid
Possibility of assigning a non-uniform offset for cuboids and cylinders when they are created in cavity mode. Negative offset values are highlighted in the graphic preview.

CAD - Plotview - Add-remove layers
Many implementations has been carried out on the plotview Page manager. Among them, for example, the Add/remove layers/groups function added in the contextual menu.

CAM - Assemble feature pattern
A new option is available to reassemble a dissolved pattern of features or create a pattern from identical manual features. This option works with 2D, wire, and hole features. Individual identical features can be added to existing models using the drag-and-drop function, and a parent pattern can contain multiple child patterns.

CAM - Pocketing new transition between features
Previously, when the transition within the features was optimised, a link was generated close to the clearance plane at rapid feed. Now it is possible to generate the toolpath without an unnecessary return to the clearance plane with correction of the transition feed rate, thereby reducing the machining time.

CAM - Templates and Reference name
The Reference name, now extended by the CAD Change Attribute and available for all subsequent CAM geometries (CAM Profiles, Piece, Stock, Obstacle), is crucial for the benefits towards automation. The Save operation template can store and use these names of the geometry used in operations.

PROGRESS - Erosion block
The erosion block function permits automation of a process that every user had to perform manually. After the punches have been defined, they can be nested in a single block that can be used as a stock for wire erosion. The solids will be automatically instantiated with the original ones; thus a change made on the punch, during tool design, will be automatically notified to the nested punch and prepared for the wire process.

PROGRESS - Part flange unfolding
The calculation of mesh quality has been improved as one can now switch between FTI and D&E solutions without reducing the quality result. In addition, all binder surface methods have been improved to guarantee a better surface quality result and increase the success rate when unfolding complex bends. Furthermore, the system allows flange parts to be unfolded even if the reference face is not a plane or linear bend. Another strong point is the possibility of using this solution not only on solids/surfaces previously analysed with Part definition, since users can now extract the model skin and use this flange unfolding function by simply switching from face selection to edge selection and selecting the reference edge of the non-linear bend. Finally, the new morphing faces option allows users to select the faces that are to be retained as the original shape.
