VISI RELEASE 18 UPDATES
IMPORTANT TECHNICAL NOTE
With the latest V18.0.02.11 update an error has been found on the CAM relating to tool holder collision checking for the 3-axis aggregate finishing operation. Even if the option 'consider tool holder during computation' is active, there is a risk of potential collision.
To solve this problem it is necessary to download the following file MSExe.rar (900kb). Please extract the 'MSExe.exe' file into the VISI18BINMS3 folder.

IMPORTANT
The latest software additions and fixes are displayed within the 'What's new ' section of the on-line help (CAD.chm). The on-line help is automatically displayed at the end of the update installation if the option "Yes - I want to read the release notes" is tagged.
Rollback
After installation, a rollback procedure is available that enables you to restore the VISI version that existed immediately prior to the update. The update procedure makes copies of all the files that will be overwritten and places them in the Rollback folder. If this folder already exists when an update is installed, then its contents are first deleted, and it is repopulated with the files that will be overwritten. This means that after multiple updates it is only possible to rollback to the most recently installed version.
The rollback may be activated in two ways:
- Using Windows Explorer navigate to the Rollback folder under the installation directory. Double click on Rollback.exe to restore the previous version.
- Using the start button navigate to All Programs/VISI/Restore previous VISI version.
